Dhumda Mata Temple
First name of Bhadrajun was 'Subhadrajun'. It was named after Devi Subhadra and One of the five Pandava Arjun. It has been said that they both got married here after leaving Dwarika. Traces have been found at Dhumda Mata Temple in the town which is dedicated to Goddess Subhadra. This is a tourist attraction over here and is beautifully located in the valley exactly behind the hill.
It has been a centre place for people of all villages surrounding it as they visit here in order to purchase commodities which are in range of cosmetics or electronic items. Slowly, this small place is turning out to be a trade hub of Jalore district. With the progress seen in this village from past few years, many people are shifting here from nearby villages. It is a famous fort created on top of the hill. Although it is a small fort, it is created very strategically so that it can stand strong for decades to come ahead. Constructed by Rathore rulers of city Jodhpur during 16th century A.D. by Thakur Ratan Singh, this fort stands massive and strong till date. Inside the fort, you can even find beautiful paintings and carvings which would attract you. It is enclosed on all sides from a horse shoe shaped valley. By making a visit over here, you can identify the glory and warrior spirit of Rajputs.
This city has beautiful landscapes and amazing sceneries which can simply mesmerize you. Besides, this place also has a historical significance as it is closely related to the epic of Mahabharata.
